CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY
Connect to your body’s inherent self-corrective mechanisms to restore balance and harmony.
What is Craniosacral therapy?
Craniosacral therapy is a gentle therapy that calms the nervous system and supports the body’s natural healing processes.
During a session clients are brought into a field of safety, spaciousness and deep relaxation, allowing clients to get a felt sense of presence, wellbeing and wholeness. As a safe field is felt throughout the body, the system is able to engage self- corrective mechanisms that are inherent within all Life.
This allows for physical and emotional restrictions, traumas, tension patterns, and stress to be processed and integrated by the body.
As the clients nervous system regulates and is brought into more homeostasis, the bodily systems are able to function more optimally and this enhances the health of the whole individual.
Craniosacral therapy is a wonderful way to experience deep felt presence in the body, which is such a needed tool in our current modern life. As we go through life living in our head, our body is sending us messages to listen and care for it in specific ways. Sometimes this is difficult to hear amongst the noise of life, and Craniosacral sessions are a wonderful way for people to drop into their felt sense of the body, and form a relationship with sensation and feeling.
As modern life appears to get faster and more intense for most people, finding tools to regulate our nervous system is absolute gold. Our nervous system health flows into so many aspects of our life and stress effects many systems of the body. Craniosacral therapy offers the body a time to suspend itself in a buoyant space of restoration and rejuvenation.
